The Squirrel
I just love The Squirrel in Rugby. A super friendly pub, quite possibly the smallest pub I've been in yet it has the biggest heart. Good beer and the Guinness is always top notch. The Squirrel has a great reputation for providing live music every week. It is now part of the Rugby Festival of Culture's Art Trail and I'm lucky enough to have my prints on regular show there over the summer months.
I’m not the only one who loves The Squirrel, it’s a favourite pub of the legendary John Collins, who has been known to make any excuse to travel from his home in Port Talbot, to The Squirrel on the pretence of ‘important Committee work’ at the Auto-Cycle Union in Rugby. Your mates there only want you be honest John, they all know you only come to Rugby for The Squirrel, the beer and the live music! Happy retirement John, from Mary and all your mates at ACU. They said they’ll save you a seat (which let’s face it is a tricky thing to do at The Squirrel) and you are not allowed to spend a penny next time you are over here.
Why not ask me about my art commissions, with a range of subject options and prices to suit your pocket.
